WOW, girl! You are amazing! Congrats on finding something that makes you happy. I can't wait to see what you create. You are amazing and am so glad I got the chance to meet you in VA at GASC.

Jennifer Stewart

Oh, I am so excited for you, Kelly. I can't wait to see what you create with your newly rediscovered love. :)

Your daughter is so beautiful! :)

I'm so glad that you are getting back to what makes YOU happy. Sewing also has been a refuge for me so i know how you feel. I cannot wait to see what you create. Your photos of Alyssa and Matt are beautiful too. She's gorgeous! And of course I adore the name Matt (wink!).

What wonderful pictures of your dd and her boyfriend! I'm glad you like him. That makes such a big difference, to her... to him... and to YOU. He sounds like a great guy... and being agreeable to having pictures taken, well, that's just the icing on the cake!

I'm glad you found another outlet for reducing stress. Those are beautiful fabrics you bought. Enjoy creating with them, and be sure to post when you are done! :D

Nikki Weber

I hope the sewing helps you. Love the fabrics you chose. Don'tcha just love going into the fabric stores and looking and touching all those fabrics. Next to a book store, that maybe my most relaxing place.

Janet Ohlson

AH HA...she has figured it out!
Hey, if you still miss making baby clothes, I have a cute girl who loves clothes...hahahaha

Off topic, we need to talk about CHA!!!

So glad you've found that one thing that will help....I'm still searching I think!!! By the way...your daughter is so cute and what a sweet boyfriend!! Have fun sewing...can't wait to see your creations!

I hope you are able to find some time for yourself to enjoy sewing. I love the fabrics you picked out. Very fun. Very sweet.

The photos are fabulous! She is gorgeous and I am glad he encouraged her to take some pics. That is so sweet.

Hope you have a wonderful 4th of July holiday. Blessings, Tawnya

Great pictures. They look so cute together. :-)

Take care of yourself!

I love to walk through fabric stores...I love all the beautiful colors and textures. I love that they make me want to make something.
I dont like the prices...yikes! Fabric is so expensive.
I think thats why I love scrapbooking. Its like making a little quilt :-) only so much cheaper. Hope you find peace and stress release with your sewing machine.
Im learning to knit right now for the exact same reasons. I love doing something creative with my hands. Knitting is much more portable.

Ahh, I went to the fabric store too!!! Doesn't it just make you HAPPY!? LOL, great pics!

She is absolutely adorable! (and so is her beau)
How wonderful that you are going back to sewing! I've yet to really learn how and it's something I've always wanted to do. Maybe I'll finally sign up for that beginner's quilt class.

Wendy Reed

Wow... your pic collage is awesome!! Beautiful colors and beautiful pics!!!

Oh man... I love to quilt too, problem is, I am a craft whore and I can only concentrate on one craft at a time. I sew, knit, quilt and scrapbook... but if I start on one, I can't manage another one. But those fabrics are totally trying to pull me in! LOL

I am so happy to hear you finding your happy place again. =) I can't wait to see what you sew!

Your daughter and her boyfriend are just too cute. I love that when HE suggested the pics then you got a willing model. That is so a 16 year old girl thing. =)

Take care!

Kelly, I'm so sorry to hear about your scary visit to the ER! Sounds like the result was best case scenario....and you'll rediscover something you love! The pics of Alyssa are sweet! She's a beauty!

I'm glad you're feeling better! We juggle so many things and sometimes our bodies throw up a big warning sign to slow down and take stock. Sewing sounds like a great thing for you to do. As a mom of teenage sons, I'm proud that Matt encouraged the photos. Yeah!

You may be partial, but your daughter is adorable. She looks a lot like her mother, too.

Wow....that makes me want to learn how to sew. Maybe I should do that. Your pictures are just too cute...

Those fabrics make me want to learn to sew. I can sew but not in a straight line.

What beautiful kids...oh, and i just love that he has his collar turned up. That's one stylin' boy. ;)

I don't sew much, but I adore fabric. I could spend hours (and many $$) just wandering around a fabric store. Enjoy!
