Stacy Julian: the big picture
Read it and apply the concept. It is liberating!
Richard Russo: Empire Falls
Bookclub pick.
Nora Roberts: Red Lily : In the Garden Trilogy (In the Garden (Paperback))
Nora Robers is one of the best chick lit authors around. I turn to her trilogies whenever I am looking for a little romance and mystery.
Jennifer Weiner: Little Earthquakes
I read it, I loved it, and I'm leaving it on the list for a while. It's as good as In Her Shoes, but completely different.
Elizabeth Brundage: The Doctor's Wife
I could not put this book down.
Amy Krouse Rosenthal: Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life
Get it. Read it. Try it with journaling.
I'm a forty-something freelance scrapbook artist and instructor with two teenagers and a work from the home husband.
In May 2005, I resigned from a frelance design position with a large scrapbook manufacturer. While working for this company, I designed and instructed scrapbook classes for retailers and consumers. I also designed sample projects featured in training manuals, print and television ads, idea books, and trade shows. This position evolved as the industry grew. After three years, I felt the need to spend more time at home with my teenagers and less time traveling, thus my recent resignation.
I am currently designing and instructing for Tacony Corporation working with the education department developing scrapbook related courses and projects for the sewing industry. Some of these projects have recently been featured on PBS and in training manuals.
In addition to scrapbooking and sewing, my freetime is spent reading. Throughout each day, I enjoy blogging and communicating with my scrapbooking peers on an internet message board. I spend every Friday and Saturday night at ballgames watching my children participate in various seasonal sports.
